FindWhere’s SaaS platform is a scalable and reliable service to process, in real time, large data streams generated by mobile devices and mobile phones for local government and traffic management. Once processed that data can be interpreted and integrated in third party applications using an API for statistical analysis or to feed roadside systems for traffic information which can change speed limits, direct traffic to alternate routes of provide traffic information to end users.
FindWhere ‘s technology has been successfully used in major projects in the UK and the Netherlands during road tolling and road pricing trials.
A secondary use at government level is to warn people in an emergency event based on their location. All users of iFind Mobile can choose to automatically disclose their location daily or more regular in order to receive location based emergency information when needed.  Based on geographical selection people can be warned to leave, or not enter, a certain area or country, when a natural disaster or other type of major and immediate danger has happened. This typically not only provides measures to limit the risks of the people potentially affected by such an event but also gives great relief to relatives whom are uncertain of the whereabouts of their family members or friends. Moreover the execution of search and rescue operations can immediately be focused on those really missing and reduce the related cost dramatically.
Whilst average age continues to increase and we all expect the government to provide optimal healthcare when needed, it is of critical importance to keep the population mobile. The overall mobility of individuals can be greatly enhanced when using iFind Mobile thus reducing national health spending. Increased mobility will always result in a better vital condition and indirectly also helps the mental state of those nowadays restricted in their mobility due to health or feeling less secure. A related result is that people can maintain their quality of living for a longer period in their home environment, typically supported by caregivers in their direct presence, like neighbors or family members. Any reduction in professional healthcare needs obviously has a positive effect on the related budgets since care now can be provided by private caretakers. By using iFind Mobile patients or elderly people are no longer required to have a personal alarm, mostly worn as a necklace or bracelet, which connects to a system installed in their homes resulting in serious restriction of their mobility. A personal alarm function on a mobile phone provides “peace of mind” for both the user as well as their caregiver(s) since one simple alert will trigger immediate and location specific notifications to be send to predefined recipients. And should someone start to wander the service will also send alerts when certain “safe zones” borders are crossed.
FindWhere’s SaaS platform is developed with private use in mind whilst being also connected to  healthcare providers and institutions allowing for a seamless integration of private and professional support wherever and whenever needed.  The web based tracking panel is straightforward to use for any caregiver whilst the API’s provide direct links to third party incident management and response services.
